Some Things To Remember...

This weeks sermon: November 08, 2009:

Sunday at 10:30am at The Burlington Music Center

Redeemer

Miraculous.

Spectacular.

Unbelievable.

Powerful.

Inexplicable.

That's what your Christianity is supposed to look like.

Does it?

We'll preach on it, continuing our current sermon series:

'CULTURE WARS: 5 urban warfare tips for your friendly neighborhood Christian.  From Corinth with love...'

Your text for this week:

"And, I brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God...but the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works in all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills."

- 1 Cor 2:1-5 & 12:7-11 NKJV)

This week (Sunday November 8, 2009) at THE WELL baby.
