Impossible is nothing...

This weeks sermon: May 30, 2010:

10:30am at The Burlington Music Center (just west of Guelph Line just north of New St. next to The Central Library)

Impossible

You might think it's impossible for you to faithfully support (through serving and tithing faithfully to) your church. Until you repent and overcome that sinful tendency, your church (this church) is going to be less effective than it would be if you were obedient.

It's NOT impossible for you to repent.

You might think it's impossible for you to be happy. No matter what *life* deals out you just can't seem to find a way to be content with what you've been given. You're one of those perpetually unhappy people. Until you repent and overcome that sinful tendency, happiness (for you) is going to be elusive at best.

It's NOT impossible for you to repent.

It's NOT impossible for you to be tough...

It's NOT impossible for you to be grateful...

Enough to survive anything.

You can do anything...

"10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. 14 Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble."

(Phil 4:10-14 ESV)

IN Jesus...
