The Other Guys...

This weeks sermon: August 08, 2010:

10:30am at 'The Burlington Music Center' just WEST of Guelph Line just NORTH of New St. on 'Teen Tour Way' right next to the Central Library.

OGs

Will Ferrel and Mark Whalberg are two cops who are always 'second best' and can never seem to catch a break.

Their *story* is our jumping off point for a sermon designed to inspire and encourage you to discover and *be* who you have been MADE to be, in Jesus.

We'll be working from THIS iconic verse:

"1 O LORD, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. 3 You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O LORD, You know it altogether. 5 You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it..."

-PS 139:1-6 (NKJV)

I wish I could preach the ENTIRE Psalm for you, but with the Ordination and all, I'm going to have to keep things a little shorter than usual.

Looking forward to seeing you, and maybe a friend or two, 10:30am this Sunday...

HERE.
