What can we say?
Summer is tough at church.
Everyone's at the beach, or the cottage or by the pool. This results in small numbers at our services. If you've been joining us through the past couple weeks, "Thanks..." we've needed you. Preaching to ourselves and leading worship for ourselves would get old real quick. Please keep coming.
If you're away, please pray for us. Pray that God will continue to grow His church. Pray that THE WELL will continue to serve Jesus and His people here in the Burlington area (and beyond) faithfully. Pray for the Lord to be sowing seeds of interest in people's hearts so that, come fall, when life gets back to normal they might wander by some week to see what THE WELL is all about and, when they come, their hearts might be captivated by the Holy Spirit.
Pray for clarity for our leaders as they contemplate some very aggressive (and exciting) expansion plans for the fall. Pray for favour, resources, open doors and clear direction.
Pray for POWER in the worship and repentant hearts. Pray for UNCTION in the preaching and receptive hearts.
Pray for God to keep doing what He's doing and to help us follow him (participating with Him) well.
