Cops and Reverends and Picnics...
First off...
Our 'Summer Movie Series' continues this week with 'THE OTHER GUYS' starring Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg as bumbling 'second best' cops who can never seem to catch a break.
The reason we're doing this series to begin with is so that you can go see the movie Friday night or Saturday with some friends them come to church Sunday, bringing those SAME friends, ready to see it again through a Gospel lens.
Also...
Todd will be being ORDAINED this week as part of the service. Get ready to join his family and friends and the members of THE WELL as their Pastor officially *becomes* a 'Pastor'.
Immediately following the service...
We'll head outside to Central Park for a PICNIC. This is a GREAT way for you to get to know the people who are starting to call THE WELL their 'church home' a little better.
IT'LL BE POTLUCK, which means you NEED to BRING something. Something like:
-Salad (normal, potato, macaroni)
-Sandwiches
-Veggie tray
-Fruit tray
-Dips
-Chips
-Dessert
-Drinks
THE WELL will provide cups, plates, cutlery, garbage bags, and FUN.
You bring the rest.
